I think the Z32's are awesome looking cars. My friend has a 450 HP TT. The biggest things I can remember about them is the back two spark plugs are a bitch to get to if they need changed or gapped. And the Alternators pretty commonly fail...I think they have some electrical gremlins of a few sorts. But definitely nice cars!!!
Correct sir! We have a z32 and it has gone through 2 alternators. Both of them were making juice just fine but the regulator went and well it took ALL the lights with it. Head, turn, high, tail, markers......gone. Glad it didn't fry the ECU with it. There are some quarks about the car, to align the camber you will need a kit for it. Steering wheel does NOT move. The seats SUCK compared to the MKIII seats. They just are not as aggressive. The car has been fairly reliable but there are issues with plastics. If you take it apart they do like to break, they are not as strong as other cars. We went through alot of epoxy fixing screw mounts on the dash, door panels, and rear panels. Also I have heard the automatic transmission is crap...dunno if that is just for n/a's or tt's or both. I just know alot of them fail I am just not sure on which model if not both. Working on the car is a total nightmare everything is built around everything. Just to get the heater box out we had to pull the ac box out, the fan box out and remove the ecu and some other shit for that to even get out. But like I said, the car has it quarks, it's just down to if the car is enough fun to go through stuff like that and the answer here is yes. It is an amazing machine.
