Hi, I have an 89 hardtop turbo with the mods listed below. Mechanically the car is in perfect shape and I'm about to install a new RPS clutch, fidanza flywheel, and a metal head gasket. The car runs great but I'd like to still get some more power out of it.....basically I need a project. Aside from a 1jz or 2jz swap, what would you do?
I was considering an upgraded turbo but I don't want anything too laggy, maybe just a CT26 upgrade (57 trim maybe?). I would also be installing a walbro 255 fuel pump if I upgrade the turbo.
What about a larger throttle body?
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated as I'm still learning more about this car.

Greddy electronic fuel pressure guage.
Short throw shifter
FJO Air/Fuel ratio computer monitor with 5 wire O2 sensor.
