now you can't really blame me for my train of thought here if you have had more than a few years of experience dealing with 7M's....:nono:
I was wondering how many of you tore your 1J's down before putting them in your car.
I was pondering the idea of picking up a gasket kit and changing out all the oil seals and maybe doing a new headgasket, but since it's metal, I'm not sure if I should even worry about it or not....I'm not going for 900 HP or anything...
I've got a fresh set of rebuilt twins that I'm gonna slap on there, but other than that, did most of you guys just transplant it over and wire it in?
I'm not too sure what I need to do before putting it in the car...I don't know if I'm being intelligent or overly paranoid....I probably don't need to touch anything involving the headgasket, but it's been in the back of my head...(remember that 7m thing..lol...hard to break old ways...j/k)
