need help with 1JZ !

Today I was cleaning car and was playing music, well later that day I tryed starting it and battery was dead, luckily I had waranty so I went to get a replacement but now once I put new battery I started it and stays iddle at little less than 500 RPM, it feels like its going to die out, my volt gauge reads 11-12 volts, I checked battery twice at autozone and its fully charged, I rev it up to 2000 and when I let go of gas it turns off. What could it be, help me

Come on guys I really need the help, I tried to started again but the same thing happened this morning, I'm going to check all fuses when I get home. Could it be alternator, how could I check it? 1JZ

pull the alternator and take it to autozone, they also check them for free...

Low engine rpm.....may not be spinning the alternator enough to get a good charge to your battery causing the drop in voltage. If yo test it again by keeping the rpms a little higher to a normal idle, you will see that the voltage may go up.
However, like Razoe said, It is a free check for an alternator so it wouldn't hurt to get that tested. Its not hard to remove.

Also, Check the ALT light on your dashboard. Usually that is a good indication when your alternator is going bad or has gone bad and the charge light will be on.

Remove the EFI fuse for about 10 seconds and reset the ecu. Try starting after resetting and see if this helps.

The 1JZ has an idle re-learn procedure. By pulling the fuse, you have forced it to re-learn its idle.

glad you got that worked out, damn 1JZ was put together by Einstein before his demise and the plans were released in the early 90's,. eh?
