I looked int the wiring diagrams but It didnt answer my question.

I was replacing my CPS, but since the one I got had already been spliced, I thought I would just splice it in past the connector (to rule out a bad connector anyways)

But I was looking at the wires and noticed an issue. The wires on either side of the connector dont match up in color. Specifically the red and green (or its a discolored blue). The connector is plugged in correctly, but the red goes to a green wire on the ECU side of the connector, and the green wire goes to a red wire on the ECU side. Is this correct?

Mind you it was running before this (still have the occasional no start issue). Can someone go look at their connector and tell me ith theris does this as well.

The car is an 89T With a build date of 09/88

Thanks, Im wondering if this may be my problem?

Just went out and looked at my '89T (10-'88 build)...the above is correct. The CPS wiring does not match up to the harness.

thanks, I think its odd that they crossed the red/green when going through the connector, but it was a factory harness so it seemed right, odd, but right. thanks guys
