I'm totally impressed with this car! I absolutely love the four doors style and looks. It drives and handles very well in my opinion. It only has 360 miles now so I still am yet to feel the full potential of the car. I hate break in!

those are fun to drive, but i hate the clutch and the shifter... i drove my friends and kept going from 2nd to 5th... haha. but once you get it up to like 6-8k in 2nd gear and you get it moving, its a fun little car.

This car has MASSIVE torque!!! Haha, I wish....You do have to keep the rev's up high to make any power, but that's the norm for these engines. I wanted a daily that was comfy, 6 spd, and fun to drive.

I've got a lot of friends that I've made on here and SF through the 6 years of being a Supra owner so I thought I'd share : P

I think those new 4 door civics are oddly attractive. the coupe is fugly tho, imo. The dashboard is huge so they can keep the sports car windshield rake and move the passengers back far enough to keep the econo car head and leg room

Very nice, thanks a lot! I'm on 8thCivic.com It's really weird being on a Civic forum, lol. They're so much different than what I've been used to for the last 7+ years

Yeah, I agree with you. It's definitely weird when you're on non-Supra forums. I go to Scion forums every now and then (for my new car) and damn, it's so different. The mentality is different, and the people are so stupid it's not even funny (it's worse than some of the guys on these forums)

my dad has a 07 Coupe that had 10miles at delivery and on the way home i was driving back and he was hauling some major ass in the car, pretty much said "screw the break in period" and gave it a hard break in.

According to the K-series guys, its better to drive it a little hard during break in to the rings will seat the cylinder walls properly....? Idk how true this is but whatever.

8th civic is great for many things. They have picture by picture instructions on how to tear down the dash, to install aftermarket navi and other random things like that.
My buddy with an 07 Si put down 200whp and 146wtorque with an Injen Cold Air Intake, dcsports race header(probably the shittyest header made for the K-series), and a Greddy Evo 2 exhaust. Just some food for thought, incase you were wondering if you should mod it or not.

Great car imho. I get to drive these things all the time, new and used, since I work at Honda. I think they have plenty of power for what it is (come on it's just a civic). It's nice to see you opted for the 2 extra doors. Makes for a nice little seden.

Hope it treats you well and visa-versa.

Well Bryan, I bought this for you since I heard you guys like to race four door rental cars at the TX meets so now I can fit in :bigthumb:

I don't have any plans to mod this thing...........YET! To be totally honest, I think the first thing that I'm going to do is put on a suspension kit. Honda actually sells one that seems to have great feedback. It comes with the struts and springs all ready to go so you can't go wrong with that!

As for the forums, there are some threads that just give me absolute migraines.

If I hear.........

"What do I have to do to go turbo?" "All I want is like 350hp so I think I'll buy a t3/t4 turbo with 17psi's for now and maybe some nitrous to spool it off the line"

I think I'll kill myself

Ahaha. There's some moron on the Scion forums that says he changes oil every 2000 miles, and he uses synthetic. :3d_frown:
