There are so many Mercedes I cant help but try them all! :p

Anyway, I sold my other two white ones and bought this 1993 S420. 4.2L V8. Yes, gas mileage is shit. :D But it sure is nice to drive.

A lot of car for $4k. The Supra is still number ONE!

I had a 96 S500. Basically the same car. The only thing i can say is keep a close eye on the speedo, it seems like you are doing about 60 when you are really doing about 90. Good luck, and its a beautiful car.

Yea, I couldn't pass it up for the price! I had looked at several and this one was the best by a mile. I don't really think I'm brave enough to own one either...it sits in the garage most of the time and i drive the Supra lol. I'm afraid something is going to break! O_O Well, plus 11MPG doesn't help! :p

llooks good. the 4k price tag is pretty good. I would have figured a few more k for sure. the gas mileage sounds horrific though.

how's the supra?

Hey Kevin! Supra has issues as usual...AC just stopped working, clutch is dying, subframe is cracked (badly), won't pass smog, needs new master/slave cylinders, needs front brakes, needs p/s rack, and a few other things. Runs great tho! LOL :biglaugh:

I guess that's what happens when you put a bunch of work into the engine, but you live in an apartment, so the undercarriage (and anything that requires getting underneath the car) gets neglected since I can't perform the work here, without getting reprimanded. :\

Anyway, its still alive and kicking and I drive it daily! :D

^---their AMG models produce so much torque, a manual tranny wouldn't be able to hold it. Hell the Black Series SL with it's twin turbo engine is a 5 speed auto, nothing else would be able to hold it...
