Picked this up the other day, has kept me from working on the Supra aside from tonight :)

2007 Hyosung GT650r that was dropped at low speed (hence the lack of fairings), picked it up for $1800! Going the streetfighter route, so a few repair parts and some paint and she'll be good to go. My last bike was a 600cc I-4 so the 650 v-twin is totally different but I think I'll like it.

Mods so far:
Full Yosh exhaust (sounds badass)
Rejetted for exhaust
Woodcraft clipons
Aztec8 dual 5.75" headlight kit

Planned:
EBC pads all around, new rear rotor
Bridgestone Battlax rear tire
WR450 headlight housing/windscreen I'll modify to fit and paint
New tank to replace the dented one
Black paint on evarythang as Kat Williams would say

Figured I'd share since there are quite a few riders around here...

They've only been selling in the US since '05 but have been around for 30yrs mainly in Europe and Asia. Hyosung actually makes alot of parts for Suzuki and they hired ex Suz engineers to design the GT650. It's very similar to the SV650...

LOL.

I wasn't sure what to expect judging by the title of the thread.

Appears to be a pretty damn good deal! Nice find.
For $1,800, I'd eat that up as well.

You guys are crackin' me up... Got all the repair parts on the way, new tank, fender, brake stuff etc. Also put the extras that came with it on ebay last night. Hoping to be in it for <$2k when all is said and done. Also sold my old bike last night for more than I paid for it. Been a good week!

Been busy this week, new tank, fender, fixed up the back end and put some signals on it with a proper LED relay and mounted the plate where you can actually see it, new brake pads, deleted the passenger pegs and added an SV650 solo exhaust mount, cleaned, lubed, and adjusted the chain etc...

Wohoo, risers, bikemaster superbike bars, and stompgrips:

New bars should be alot easier on the back than the clipons. New rear rotor and tire are on, braided brake lines are on the way, MC line didn't reach on the new bars so what the hey. Ready to get 'er done and ride again!
