Hey there...

i have spent a good 2 hours looking for guides on how to install stuff on my supra...

i cant find the one for the hatch struts... can anyone post it for me.. pm it to me...

i would appreciate it mucho...

dont try to take the ball out of the hatch..

near the top of the struts under the "ball", there is a flat portion, get some strong pliers and turn, they'll twist off...

also, you need to remove some of your rear hatch trim to get to the 2 bolts holding the other end of the struts to the body..

ah yes i remember from the post... i have to remove some of the inside plastic to get to parts of struts...

on pre 89's you only need to remove the rear trim, on 89+, you need to unbolt the top of rear seatbelts....so make sure you do it right!

I was stupid and tried to get the ball out, but then I ended up unscrewing the shocks. I believe there is a how-to in the reference section for hatch shock swappage, it requires you to dismantle half your interior =(
