I feel a little stupid for asking this but, where does the smaller bushing go? I think it is called the shifter socket.

Thanks for any help in advance.

I have been using this (http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62478&highlight=Marlin+Crawler+install) thread but it has not really mentioned the smaller bushing install.

It needs to be at the bottom like the guys said. if you did not find one, someone did not install it in the first place. Now you have it, you can put it on . See image below :

That pic really helps. I just went out side and it fell into the hole but I got it out. It was worn out so I don't no how long its been down there.... I did have a lot of shifter play. Thanks for all the help guys!

When I replaced mine it was worn down to nearly nothing, so it can be a bit difficult to see at 1st I suppose.

Also, they make the tolerances very tight, don't force it, just keep trying until it goes straight in (when you put the shifter back in, not when putting the cup on the end of the shifter)
