wait what? you mean the nut and the bolt itself? or headstuds? wtf?
anyway im assuming youre talking about the way its in 2 pieces. bolt in 1st, then the top nut.

ok i bought arp head studs and im installing them now when i install the headstuds i put them in how much pounds of tq do i do first and then how much wen putting the moly lube and then the nuts on can some 1 give me a walk thru on installing the arp headstuds and main studs plzplz
Well, put the studs in til it hits bottom, put the caps on, then bolt them down per the TSRM pattern to the TSRM spec torque (for the headstuds, use more torque...how much depends on who you ask). The "stud" itself isn't really torqued when installling, the nut is...
Through the main caps on the bottom end. I think someone else should assemble your motor...seriously.

a "STUD" is a rod, threaded on both ends.
Head studs hold the head in place.
Main studs hold the crankshaft (well, the main caps) in place.
Please look up the difference.

It doesn't matter which you install first, main studs or head studs, they are holding down two completely different things and will not have any effect on each other if one is installed before the other....
