Too crappy a pic to tell from that.

G282 = 4.30:1 89+ N/A Non-LSD
G284 = 4.30:1 Pre-89 N/A Non-LSD
G285 = 4.30:1 N/A LSD
G305 = 3.73:1 89+ Turbo LSD
G315 = 3.91:1 Pre-89 Turbo LSD

A stock N/A with W58 and 4.30:1 rear end will be doing about 65MPH at 3000rpm in 5th gear.

I would just like to add my thoughts. There are differences between the LSDs. What about the 1JZ's with TorSens. I beleive the TorSen came in two ratios. 3.8ish and 4.1ish.

Also, so many people just think of a differential as either open or LSD. That is WAY too general a term "LSD". There are so many so-called "locking" differentials. Firstly your typical LSD does not "lock up" so stop saying they do. The majority of LSDs out there use friction discs and pressure against the side gears to limit the speed variation between the two outputs and further limit the torque difference. Not all "clutch-type" LSDs are built the same, you can vary disc pressure, the discs themselves. You can even have one-way discs. TorSen differentials use gearsets to create a bias curve which determines the torque split of the two outputs. Viscous LSDs use friction through a fluid to keep the speed variation of the outputs in check.

All MK3 LSD's are clutch-pack, with the exception of the Torsen in the JZA70. Which came in 4.10:1 and 3.91:1 ratios depending on M/T or A/T.

Looking at it closer I can see what it is. It's a European MK2 Supra.

F303 = 7.5" 3.73:1 2-pinion clutch-pack LSD.

W57 = Tranny

agreed. the MA61 gives that away...
