Leaky injectors fooling 02 sensor into bad mixture?

I have strong mid power first and second but then 3rd and 4th (at highway speeds) the car completely looses its pull. Almost like the turbo shut down. First and second its running 10 PSI but 3rd and up it runs more (about 15) Despite the extra boost the car is slower. The car also seems to pull really hard 3-4 grand but by 5 the power dissapears and the engine feels like its starving for something. There is no boost leak, and I know I have leaky injectors could they be to blame? I have a A/F meter guage and the mixture jumps around ALOT when you first crack the throttle its lean for about 2 seconds then goes to rich about 4 seconds in but the car is still slow top end. Could my leaky injectors be confusing the O2 sensor into giving the wrong mixture? The powerband on my car SUCKS poor high PRM performace and low power in a higher gear despite additional boost. any ideas whats going on? Basically first and second its really quick then I go into 3rd and its all downhill from there =( PLZ HELP!!

Leaky injectors are unlikely to be the cause. Don't rule it out completely, but put it near the bottom of the list for sure. They'd have to leak a LOT to cause problems at high boost.

Does your car have any codes?

How did you check for boost leak? How do you know how much boost you are running?

Still running stock fuel pump, fuel lines, etc?

The stock fuel map is just about wide open on the injectors above 75% throttle anyway (Most modern cars are this way to save the motor as fuel economy isn't an issue for the average guy if he's gonna run it wide open)

Sounds more like Grim's on the right track that it's going into limp mode, run the codes and see what the ECU says.

probably hiting the 1500hz that the AFM maxes out at, get an aftermarket ecu, profit.

I think my A/F meter box in the intake is messed up im ordering a Lex for it anyway and the 550 injectors and im gonna see if this helps. Checked all bost hose and tubes and there mostly new anyway no cracks or anything. I have a new 3000 coupling too

I would strongly suggest the MAFT over the lexus 550 combo.
