Thanks all. I'm recovering well. My incision is pretty much fully healed now and I must say I am impressed with how clean the scar looks. I'm working full-time now delivering pizza and feel really good. My back and shoulder don't hurt anymore and I haven't had a single pain pill (including aspirin) in about 3 weeks 
. I have a few appointments this month for radiation treatment, including one where I'll have to be admitted to the hospital for 2-3 days and put in isolation because of how radioactive I'll be.

That's how I look at it Dave. Yeah my scar has gone hard. Cool thing is that it's quite visible when I work so it does help I think with getting tips when I deliver pizza.
It'll go soft again eventually... took over a year for my incision to soften back to usual skin texture. Good luck with the radiation therapy.

glad to hear it went well. who know maybe with the all the radiation they give ya you might walk out the hospital looking like the hulk
Yeah I did. I have another 30 lbs to go before I'll be happy. I have moobs and a gut to lose and I'll be quite happy

The scar on my neck from my anterior cervical fusion is not that noticeable. The doc did the incision in a neck wrinkle too though. Guess being 38 at the time of surgery helped haha.
