Got a lot done today:
Got the motor mounted with trans
Built motor mounts

At first I tried pounding the trans tunnel in. But there is physically no way the 4l60 was going to fit. So i was forced to cut trans tunnel out from the firewall right infront of the trans mount. After doing this i was able to place the motor back far enough to make me happy.
Unfortunately my idea of flipping the exhaust manifolds forward arent going to work. Theyre hitting the frame rails. So i just ordered some 2.5" vbands. Going to angle them

Now for pics. Enjoy.

I was able to move engine/trans back far enough to where i can use factory a340 trans crossmember with little modification

Your welder does some pretty nice work! Is that gouge supposed to be in the one on the left in the second manifold pic?

There was a 1/2'' tall nub sticking off that i had to remove due to frame rail clearance's
Got my driveshaft today from a 95 firebird

More progress has been made
Modified a custom trans shifter cable to work with stock shifter
Hooked up trans cooler
Added coolant and tried to bleed system to find that the truck style water pump will not let the system bleed due to the upper radiator hose having a highest spot in the cooling system. Installed a new 01 SS camaro water pump. Now I have to change over to 98-02 camaro alt, p/s brackets and tensioner
Made up exhaust(straight pipe dumped for right now)
Loomed a little bit of the harness
Bought a aftermarket crank pulley
Installed modified C5 oil pan
Put most of the interior back together
Got it to move under its own power(yet to drive due to water pump issue)

Will upload idling video later in the day
