sounded freaking good!!!!!!!! so are you going with a safc and a afpr?

Hahaha yeah, i think im going to go with a FPR kit or some usdm 550's first and then later on ill probably go with safc. adventually i would like to get the AEM ems when i have money, but not for a while.

yes it will......single has a much better sound than the twins, and more power, which is what realy counts:) as soon as my twins fail, i am going single or when summer hits, which ever comes first, lol.

monster, did you check out my weak fly-by? i was trying to stay away from boost cut:) waiting on fcd still......

thanks alot! i cant wait to get some video of it pulling to 7200 RPM's, i have shift at 5500:(

i realy think you should get a safc and just add a touch of fuel in the upper RPM's. then when you go single you can get the bigger injectors, afpr, then when your ready to go standalone...sell the safc. im just going to get a $200 safcII, they are very easy to use and hook up.

lol too late just ordered some usdm 550's and the fuel rail for only $200, they will be here on fri., time to max out the boost! i will adventually get a safc, the only thing is i heard that safc was made for cars with mafs soo i dont know.. next on my agenda is to fix is my suspension, my rear control arms are bent to hell and back and both my front shocks are blown. The car rides like crap haha

that is a good deal, very nice! as far as i know the safc will work fine, but you can only make moderate changes. to go big..........standalone.

So you are using the inline resistors to avoid wiring in an injector resistor. Good choice.

yeah i thought so, considering i saved $180 and it takes the hardness level of the wiring down substantially.

Good thinking. I would do the same thing you are doing then solder, heat shrink and loom everything when I am finished for a clean look.

thats the plan :)

any new progress or updates jeff?

lots of progress actually haha. I installed the new shocks and lca's you sent me, not as low but its pretty much a thousand times better lol! I also got the 550cc injectors in, and wired the resistors up. I painted the strut bar mounts black instead of blue. Got a new tip tiged on my muffler for free by my cousin. I also have a AEM wide band on its way in the mail, and a 1st gen. safc, once i have those installed ill be able to do some tuning and lean it out a little. you could say ive had too much time on my hands lol. heres some pics!

man those lca's had a nice bend in them! thats awesome you got so much done in a week:) i set my fcd at 9 and it seemed to be running alittle lean to so i tried it at 10 and it a/f's were at stock and no boost cut. i need a safc as well to lean it out up top:) good times.

and the tip on the exhaust looks good!

just picked up this wideband, after installing it i took the car out for a drive to see where i was at. At Idle i was seeing a/f of 11. , part throttle a/f ratio of 12.-13. and Wot was soo rich that it was beyond the range, the gauge was showing a constant 10.0.1 Holy sh#& !!! Time for some tuning, hopefully picking up a Safc tonight. Anyways heres a little pic of the wideband sitting pretty..
