my name is red, and im working on my buddies mk3 supra. its a automatic 7mgte. i was having a hard time looking up info on repairing this thing, so i signed up here. I personally own a 1971 Datsun 510 and a 1974 VW Karmann Ghia. lol i love working on cars and im hoping to find all of my answers on here. thanks for reading!

thanks for the love you guys. and 510's are actually pretty easy to come by. they just need some loving when you buy them. to anyone who wants one, check out the forum i am a part of: RATSUN.NET. they have a million on there and they are pretty cheap. my 510 is currently down due to a motor swap(sr20det) i have been building the motor for a while now..... kept getting a oil pickup problem..... almost done now and pretty soon gonna be dropping it in the 510 =]

Wow that blue 240z is sweet. My younger brother has a datsun 1600 in his backyard he picked up cheap from Roma (country Australia) with no rust at all and very straight. I looked at it but can't bring myself to do up another old car although it would be fun.
yeah restoring is a whole nother ball game. im only 21, yet i love classics more than anything. thanks why i own these "buckets" i get made fun of by alot of my friends and their newer cars, but when their car breaks down, its always a ego boost when i can say to them, "its funny how my 40 year old car is still running, and your ten year old car is busted to all hell" =]
