A few years ago. I was reading old posts from...eleswhere. I over did it, with some good people too. There really is no excuse. I hadn't realized some(most) of it was that harsh, until re-reading it.

The ignorant ricers deserved :rant2: it, and still do. But not everybody else. :nono:

Nick: Until I got to know you I thought you were a bit harsh but honest!

It's sometimes easy to lose sight of the fact that all of the posts here are real people with feelings and shit! ;)

Nick, before I knew you I thought that you were harsh. That was over 4 years ago. When I look at that time, I find that I was simply attributing my lack of experience to my opinion of you back then. I was stupid. You have always been fair, just, and right on with any tech advise. I also agree with you politically, but that's a whole other set of threads. Stay the way you are, keep an open mind, but stay vigilant to the BS.

I am not overly familiar with your post history previous to the last year-and-a-half or so, but I've never thought you to be harsh. You always seem bluntly honest and assertive-attributes that far too many people often mistake as being rude, harsh or self-righteous.

Hah, I've got a lot of experience with that type of thing. I think I'm often misunderstood by somewhat sensitive people that don't take the time to get to know me. I really couldn't care less about what others think of me, though. I'd be far different if I did.

Good day to you.

I started at i-Supra as well. Unfortunately it's pretty quiet now and the color scheme sucks... I've always considered Nick M to be one of the most knowledgeable members of any Supra board I've ever been on.

Sure you've been harse sometimes, but I've never thought it was excessively so.

Haha Nick. You know, back when i first came into the supra scene, i did not know a damn thing except how to ask the right questions. It was only you that gave the right answers. You didnt BS around, you told me what i needed to know to understand or get the job done in a timely manner. For that, i thank you...my knowledge has grown considerably and you helped introduce the foundation to that knowledge.

yeah sometimes you were a tad harsh, but defiantley within reason. You were saying things that alot of us were thinking....id like to think you just had the balls to say what was needed to be said in order to move on from the stupidity that some people can bring in a thread.

In a way, you remind me or Dr. House in that show House. hahaha

take care from your friend,

Johnny D.

I also started on i-Supra where I haven't been in well over a year. That's where I became familiar with you, Nick. It seemed as if you were always a great source of information no matter what topic or car was being discussed.

The fact that you're a proud American is great, too.

nah, i don't think so. even when i was a n00b over on i-supra, you were patient with me, and explained every aspect of tech in full. i think those who were just in the fad of having a supra at that time took offense to your statements, which as far as i'm concerned isn't a big deal. you get in the game, you stay in the game. ;)

you weren't ever abasive toward me, and boy, was i a n00b at one point. though, weren't we all?

man, this has got me thinking of:

man, there were so many knowledgable members roaming around i-supra. i signed up as everyone started to slowly stop showing up. it got very slow on i-s over the past few years. that's when i found SM.

Not in some time. They ran an 11.80 in a Road @ Track flogging. That is still blazing fast by today's standards.

It was unproffessional to not seperate good people from the cheesedicks. And I am honestly sorry it.
