You could make an N/A $300 HP but the question is "Do you have the money to get it there?"

If your looking for only 300HP and plan on swapping Id go with the 1JZ. Either way, the GTE or 1J is gonna be about the same price (To make a reliable 7M according to Bigaaron).

Im personally a fan of the 7MGTE. Its an engine Im familiar with coming from an N/A so its pretty similiar to work on and maintain.

For a 7M:

Engine: 1K
Rebuild: $450 (Rod bearings/Gasket set/Piston rings/Main bearings/ARP harware)
.57 trim CT26: $350 I think check with MDC.
Downpipe/Exhaust/Elbow $600-1K (Cheaper if you have a shop make it)

Well i found a 7M GTE for 700$ and a 1JZ for 800$... but they only have lk 30 more HP than the NA... is thier more powerful upgrade options for &m GE or 1JZ than the NA... (The torque has quite a difffernce of course from the NA but just as far as HP goes)

Thats not that much, would that make 300 HP?

Why not go 2j?? if it is running well it will cross 300 hp with little or no mods.

Well the price seems to be considerably more... but maybe i should look around for a good price cuz taht would be a good option if i could afford it. Will it fit in an 89?
