HKS 7MGTE Twin Turbo manifold

As some of you might have seen I have tracked down an old cast iron manifold for the 7MGTE.

It's a twin turbo manifold.

From looking at pictures I have found here on Supramania it seems that the manifold is a HKS manifold.

I write seems since the HKS letters are not present on my manifold.

So I was wondering does anyone know if there were companies copying the HKS manifold?

You can see my manifold here:

The HKS is here:

They are the same as far as I can see. But did companies apart from HKS make these?

If you want to see the manifold on a Supra look here: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58647

In my research and memory on the various kits over the years, HKS and blitz used cast manifolds, but I remember the blitz one looking different from the HKS. A friend of mine who can chime in if he wants has that same manifold you do (only it is in the condition of the last pic) and it is an HKS, though I can't for the life of me remember if the HKS logo is cast in the bottom of the #1 runner or not...

I'm not sure??? As far as I know there were only 2 hks twin turbo manifolds ever made. They had the one they raced with and a back up one. I know the guy that has the back up. I know that there are otheir companies that make twin turbo 7m manifolds because that same guy has one of those to. Lol May be some one else will chime in.

as I remember, HKS did a kit just for their drag car, but they had a commercial kit available too. Rare, like any TT kit, but they did sell a number of them judging by how many have cropped up over the years, and the number of people I know that have them right now.

My manifold has been on a car for the last 15 years so it has seen some use.

It has one small crack that I'm going to get fixed. I'l do some grinding and sandblasting and eventually ceramic coating. Then we'll see how it looks.

I don't think the guy I bought from knew it was an HKS.

When looking at the place where the logo was supposed to be it seems that someone has done some grinding.

From looking at the flange I assume the manifolds will accept T25 turbos. Am I right?

I found this some months ago

It looks different. Seems to be for turbos with external wastegates.

I have tried following the different tubes but it makes me a bit confused.

ya the hks ad looks like a tubular manifold from the #6 runner you can see rather than the cast manifold. I've never even seen pics of that kit before...

I think the picture in the ad looks weird. Maybe it's a sequential setup?

Possible...like I said, I've never seen that pic or HKS kit before. Too bad there aren't others to get a better view. Some of the piping looks like it could be, but the shading makes it tough to tell.
