is that a purple-ish plating on the pipes? Apexi likes to use that shit....

Look a bit more like rust to me. Not only that but there would be Apexi stamped on the tip. Same with a Blitz NuR spec. Those are two unmistakable marks

That canister looks similar to the ones found on ebay, cx racing cat backs. Only this one has a resonator.

The size of the picture sucks, but the shape and way the piping routes, it almost looks like a HKS Hi-Power. Does it have a 4 bolt flange between the mid-pipe and muffler? Also on the muffler, on either side of the tip, should say "HKS" on one side and "Hi Power Muffler" on the other.

Not to sound like a dick here Moy but if it said that.....I doubt he would have made this thread.

OP- Most of the higher dollar exhausts ie; HKS, Blitz, Apexi, even Megan, usually have the names stamped somewhere on the muffler. If there is nothing on it, chances are it is a ebay knock-off.

If you have been to the exhaust to look at it again, you should have gotten a much larger pic of it. Then this problem would have been solved already. We can all guess for another few weeks, but until you get a larger pic, this is a useless game.
