I also don't really see where you're going with blowing this hose. It's a twenty year old car, shit happens. I consider all hoses and belts wear items, meaning they need replaced regularly regardless of how you treat the vehicle.

EDIT: Oh yeah, what he said, too ^

Wrong again. The head gasket IS a fault point. That's not something you can debate. The bolts are under torqued from the factory. Period.

If the gasket is a fault point, then redoing it with more torque wouldn't matter.

Toyota goes through many updates on parts on cars over the years. The current one sold is pretty strong, and not a weak point.

the head gasket is not a fault point in the 7m, the owner is...

The owner is usually a big problem, you are right.

....i am guessing no one blew a heater hose

I have.
I am interested discussing equal temps among all cylinders+eliminating hotspots

Keep it full, and eliminate leaks. The cavitation spot is back near number six. Or so I was told at Toyota about 10 years ago. The hotspot comes from a leak that didn't get fixed.

the hill fill is not in the 1989 manual, i was mistaken....i looked for ever, honestly i thought it was in there, i should have check it again not jet...i was WRONG!!!!

Everybody remembers different sometimes.
