my machinest called today and said he did a 5 angle valve job on the intake and a 2 angle radius exhaust valve job? is this good?, all i asked for was a 3 angle valve job. his daughter recently had to be medevacd so he has taken a while to get to my stuff so i guess he is doing this to my head for free.. is it any better then a 3 angle or what? im still pretty new to cars so i dont know a whole lot. thanks in advance and im sorry i have terrible grammar.

5 angle jobs are supposed to flow better than 3 angle, but some head shops claim that the 3 angle job is actually more efficient. I really dont have the test data to back it up but you can check into it if you want. Either way, I dont think you will notice the difference.

5 angle suck on exhausts but I suspect your guy knows that ;)
(seats end up to narrow and they receed badly)

I suppose thats why the TSRM recommends a 3 angle?
