Hey guys, as the tittle states, im looking for a new turbo and came across this one.
spes:

GT4082 Compressor Specs:
Wheel Diameter:
Inducer: 58.0mm
Exducer: 82.0mm
Trim: 50
A/R: 0.58

GT4082 Turbine Specs:
Wheel Diameter: 77mm
Trim: 73
A/R: 1.24
Type: Free Float

has a high load capacity
high performance BCI-18 compressor and UHP turbine
V-band outlet flange
T4 turbine inlet flange

what do you guys think? with those specs should be good for 400-500 whp right (supporting mods too of course)?

well i will go more one day, but for now ill break in the 500 mark, be content with it for a couple of months, then when my wallet gets bigger, build her up for more power. So long as the turbo is good for what i can use of it now and for more when i need it. i would think with these specs boost will kick around 3900-4400?

^^^ even with quick spool valve I dont feel it would have ANY street-ability to it. Unless He has an "unlimited budget" 7m built, but I dont think he dose.

^^^ Smart plan ;) A upgraded ct26 would probably work just fine for your power goals. Might be a little lower then 5 hundo hp but you wont notice. upgraded ct is a fun street turbo.

Wish it is was what I would have went with or a boss jr turbo.

just throwing this out there.. but, using the HKS cast mani w/custom t3-t4 adaptor, a holst H*35 is a fun yet still very streetable turbo.

I come from a land down under
I believe you can buy a T4 flanged GT35r, I made an adaptor when I had mine as the SSAC header I used hit the Compressor cover.

yea, you can go with either the HX, or HY turbo, they're both a really fun street turbo, you wont hit high numbers, but they're still really fun daily turbos..

and yes, you can buy T4 35R's..
