I've always loved the red/black super advans but on Stock Supra wheels? Not feelin it. Looks cheap.

I would be ok with painting the red lip portion a grey color maybe though... Red stands out too much and says HEY LOOK AT MY STOCK WHEELS. COOOOOOOOOOL.

I feel the same about red paint on the stock brake calipers of most cars. Why attract attention to your puny unimpressive stock brakes.

Super Advan SA3R is the only wheel so far that I've seen pull off the red/black scheme. Everything else doesn't look nearly as good to me.

I have a set coming for my Supra. Can't wait.

you almost just changed my mind.
i thought about it, and thought, maybe he's right..but then i thought..
I had these wheel powdercoated and had them taped off to powdercoat with a chrome paint, a "fake" lip. so i guess i already broke the seal of modifing "stock" wheels to make them look more up to date and attractive. so far i've had nothing but positive comments with my powdercoated wheels, more than i really expected because it was just a budget project. Putting that to mind and how much this idea appealed to me when i photoshoped it, im gonna still go ahead with the operation.
