Im trying to find out the correct name for this tool. I thought it was just called a fluid pump or oil pump.

Its the thing used when putting oil into say a differential where you cant pour or use a funnel.

Whats the correct term, so far noone knows what Im talking about. I cant seem to find one anywhere either that dont cost a fortune. I just want a hand pump with a nice size(1ltr) bottle on it.

I come from a land down under
I use the 1qt Oil bottles that have the pull out nozzle, I then screw the nozzle into some fuel hose so it reaches the fill plug and I can stand beside the car.

I grab the Air hose with the Regulator turned down to 3psi tip the bottle over and punch a small hole in it's base and use the 3psi from the nozzle.

As long as you keep the pressure low this works perfectly :)

Foot or Hand pump?

I have a bike pump but it sucks and would be bulky and a hassle to use in this way I think. Id much rather just a bottle with hand pump right on it lol. I know they exist I ve seen them before.

Those all look huge, most say 5-50gallon drum size.

The one in this pic is what Im shooting for, its a poor pic though.

Pump

Just a small 1 liter bottle with a hand pump that screws on and a short hose.

Can't you just go into the auto store and walk around and find it? I am sure I have seen it in there plenty of times.

Tried that, didnt see any when I looked. The people at the counter never herd of it.

Seems the proper name is a Lower Unit Quart Pump. Easy to find them for sale now I know the name of it.
