Hey guys Albert and I have been designing a 1zz bracket for people to use on their 7m and want a better ignition system with their standalone. This bracket will be water jetted and I wanted to get a feeler to see how many people would be interested. This is how the bracket will look. Albert built the original for Stevens car and these are pics from his motor. I believe that a front facing intake manifold will be required as the coils sit to high and that will be verified soon. Price that we are looking at is around $130-150. If you are interested please post up! Feel free to ask any questions.

Doing the wiring like this will make it look very clean and un cluttered. We have not incorporated a way to hold wiring.

Hmmmmmm that price seems a little high.......

Depending on how many people we get in on it. Maybe I'll fill out a form for a group buy..

Albert- vendors need not apply for a group buy, and you're a vendor! ;)

I'd like to see it, but it does seem a bit steep. I'd be much more comfy at the $100 price point or so. This is something I would buy, very interested!

Oh I thought it still had to be approved, and the form is what gets it approved.

Maybe I look into that.

Just thought I'd put this out there since its rather similar, I think there would likely be equally if not more interest in a mounting plate for the is300 coil mod.

Yes, but the is300 coil setup works with the stock ignition and ecu (waste spark or whatever you call it), therefore isn't exclusively applicable to standalone people.

Good argument. I myself am planning on going standalone this year, so it is not a worry.

Did anything ever happen with this? I just put a set of 1zz coils on my 7m and I am looking up some way to mount them such as this.
