Since I will be pulling the trans next week, I am wondering what your best time for R & R is?

To qualify, it must have been done on jack stands, no lifts and trans jacks, air tools are ok.

Ive had to do this several times recently. Most recently I did an auto to 5 speed swap on my mk2 in about 6 hours. That included the pedals and hydraulics. Not the fastest time on earth but Im kind of methodical in my madness.

Yup. Yours was a bit slower because of all the custom bits hanging off your car, means Jason and I can't pick all the tools we are going to use ahead of time.

I've done mine with one guy helping, down, replaced the clutch, back up and running in 4 hours.

I did my clutch in about 3...... solo with the engine raised by the harmonic balancer as high as it would go, my two jacks, air compressor, air ratchets, short and long set of 10's, 12's and 14's sockets and about 4 ft of extensions for the top bolts on the tranny.
