Expensive Valve shims!

Can any give me an alternative to the expensive Toyota shims? I need about 18.

Why is this surprising? I had a head rebuilt with new valves, and if I didn't have 3 heads worth of spare shims, I'd have been needing close to this many as well as I'm picky about my tolerances.

25 mm shims from any motorcycle shop 5-7bux each is what i paid.

Pick N Pull - many of the earlier Toyota engines used the same type shim/bucket set up

If your going to pay full price might as well switch to shimless.
