hey guys sorry if this is a little noobish but i want to make sure i know. my question is will the exhuast cam on the 7m jus pop back in to place? im thinking it might be a little difficult because of the spline for the cps. and both the intake and exhuast have a front seals right? for somereason only the exhuast did on mine.. (maybe explains the oil leak?) any info helps and will be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Follow the instructions in the TRSM to the letter and keep in mind the Tq setting is 14ft/lbs.

Yes there is a seal on each Cam and yes that would explain the leak...

thanks IJ. but it do not indicate the proper way to reinstall the exhaust camshaft.. which leads me to believe its pretty str8 forward like the intake.

Read from here then go to the Timing section.

sweet thanks. if im correct i tighten no.3 and 7 bearing cap to 14 ft/lbs in several passes the tighten 5, 4, 6, 2, then lastly 1 bearing caps to the same spec. sounds good in thoery. lets try!!
