Hello,
just wanted to let you all in on this :)

This is my first Supra MK3 and car #3 in my collection.
This is also my first car with a big engine and factory turbo and RWD :p

I bought it tonight and I managed to spin it while taking a turn :nono: but there was enought room on the road so the coast was clear and I knew that there was a possibility to spin :)

hehe thank you all :)

Just to be fair, the paint looks a bit better in the pictures. The oxidation has done some work on it. But a couple of hours with some polishing products will make it better.

By the way, it's an 1989, is on 175xxkm and is a targa. I'm owner #17 and it has been of the road for about 5 years. So I'm guessing that several owners did nothing with it like the previous one who had it in a garage for about a year.

It has some surface rust on the wheel arches and a spot in front of the windscreen.
The trunk hatch is stuck, so I can't open it, any tips?

It has been standing still alot. Have only been driven about 1000km during the last 4 years, since the last inspection.

I will polish and wax it as soon as possible :) Since it's red it will be fun to see the diffrence since it's so easy to spot.

Thanks, I will look for the lever the next time.

Hello again,
I managed to open the trunk :p all I had to do was press the lock cylinder in...I thought that I had tried that before...

The idea when I bought this was to take the engine, drivetrain and suspension and install it in my Mazda GC coupe, but seeing how good condition it's in have made me think.
I'm thinking about doing a build on this car, but I'm still not 100% sure, mostly because of the weight.

If I do the GC build it will weight about 1400kg with a full roll cage and without any fibreglas parts. The only thing I have to think about regarding the engine is 15kW/100kg.
The problem is the work needed to make the GC car body ready for RWD since it's FWD stock.

But then again, the supra is very nice :p A little renovation work and some upgrades and it will be ready for the track ;)

For anyone interested here is my project thread about my other build.
It's an Mazda 626 -90 (GD) with an FE3 (FE-DOHC) engine.

EDIT: If anyone decides to enter the links above, there are only images from this year.
If anyone has any suggestion on what to do, build on the GC or the MK3, please let me know?
