WARNING FOR HALF SENSITIVE VIEWERS!!!

This day started good.
I was supposed to do some work on the supra first and then go with a friend and buy some
pipes for his car that will become a pipe-rear-end.
We didn't get that far. While I was waiting for him I decided to cut the bolts holding
the lower A-arms in front but I only completed one.
When I did the second one my angel-cutter got stuck and then got thrown back at me.
I did manage to raise my arm to protect my body, so it walked right up the arm and then
jumped over to the floor.
The cuts are not very deep but they had some width so my friend wanted to take me to the hospital.
And so we did. I left the hospital about 10-12 stitches richer :)
I hasn't hurt a bit but now I'm not allowed to move or put any load on my arm.
It's pretty easy to feel when the stitches say "NO" so I think I can stay away from ripping one
or more out :) My mother will take the stitches out after a week.

This is a lesson for me. I have been working with angle grinders/cutters for about 6 years
and I have never hurt myself (scratches don't count).
I'm only using small angle cutters on the cars and I hold them with both of my hands.
I'm only using the bigger ones where I can hold it with a 2-hand grip (one hand is on the extension)
and where I can sit or stand with the object in front of me.

This that happened today was just an accident where I was very lucky.
I could have gotten it on far worse places.

I hope you think of this the next time you are about to use one.
These are dangerous and it's easy to lose that perspective.
Be careful and think things through and then concentrate.

Thanks for looking.

Just a follow up on the arm :)
And yes, this is a part of the project, all of my projects.
It's healing great but it was hard keeping my arm from moving to much especially since
this is my primary arm. But now it's good :)

I can work with a damaged arm, but nothing that requires any force.
So I worked on some bushings and making some drawings.
I'm trying to make a CAD of the whole rear suspension and then the idea is to do a FEM simulation
on it. This will be both for private and for school work.

Dropped of some things at the garage and among these things were an oil cooler.
It was cheap so this will be my backup oil cooler if I'm not done with my other when it's
time to turn the key or something like that.

Finally removed the front lower a-arms.
It was a bit scary picking up the angle grinder again... but it went good.
I also cleaned a bit of the left front wheelhouse.
It looks like the right wheelhouse... but I can't see any signs of the car ever being in a
crash. So the welds have been made by a previous owner... doesn't look good so I will have to take care of that.

Did a little work in the rear left wheelhouse.
I also spot welded the cut-away-piece-from-the-spare-wheel-holder :)
But I'm a little stuck at this.

I want to move my battery to the back, but if I have it on the floor I can't store
my targa there. So a better place would be to have it in the spare wheel holder.
And place it in the front area of the holder (green figure). I would then flatten the floor
in the holder (black figure) and raise a part of the holder floor (red figure).
The figures can be seen in the last picture.
What do you think?

Today I scraped of some more underseal on the driver side.
After some attacking with a wirewheel it will be clean enough for paint.

Continued with stichwelding today and did the rear turrets. All that is left on those
are the reinforcement plates on top.
