This hood is funny, and the guys who made it is funny! Theirs two JDM flies in the resin and what looks like hair dubbed "the pubic hair" by Bee. lol

Some old pics that never got posted.

Before & After: I will miss the N/A it has been so reliable.

First track day I believe it was in March 2011, the 7mge ran fine all day.
The cylinder head has been "ticking" for 7yrs from a bad cylinder head repair.
I thought it got louder, so I decided to swap in the 1.5JZ
It still not quite done, it's been years since my 89 N/A looked anything like my Sig.

No more wrinkle coat intake manifold.
HKS Flange welded onto the TB from Eric's Supra.
2JZ A/C compressor modified to fit 7M A/C lines.
Power Steering Bracket needs to be modified to clear A/C compressor.

borrowed my pops grinding wheel today so I can finish off my PS pump.

The new wheel set up will be crazy, I've been having second thoughts on version 2.5 lol
but have a few sketches of the new look and more wheel options.

My silver Advan RA3-DT's are my track wheels. ATM I'm not selling them, sorry.

Here's what I did Tuesday below.

Finally got the turbo fixed and it's almost ready to go back on.

HKS SSQV
swaybar end-links from "the safety aversion society"

Not much but here it is!

MK3.0dudeman - thanks, wished I took better care of it.
But i've gotten lazy. ::flame::

http://www.full-race.com/store/fuel-systems/fuel-pumps/walbro-400lph.html

"the Walbro 400lph "turbine style" High-Pressure fuel pump is a brand new aftermarket release for 2011. Designed to meet the fuel-hungry demands of modern turbocharging enthusiasts the Walbro 400lph High Pressure unit can flow close to the amount as dual intank pumps or large externals but in a small, convenient and surprisingly quiet package. This pump is a great solution for E85 turbocharged cars and anyone looking to make big power and run high boost with a simple fuel system where the 255 won't suffice "

Did some modding yesterday. :evil2:

Here are a few pics of what I did to get the P/S pump to fit over the A/C
A bit of cut and grinding. but it works and is just as rigid as the original piece.
I would have done it differently next time, if any further issues arises.

Serpentine belt installed along with the ALT.
Started wiring in the harness for that also.

Turbo is on and oil return line installed.

ugh oh!!!!!!!!!!!

Worked on the engine harness for a bit today, need to shorten and connect a few wires still.
APEXi Power FC :biglaugh: pre-programed 1000hp+ map needs to be reset from previous 2JZGTE.
Doubt I'll make anything over 300hp, until I upgrade to a external f/p regulator and bigger injectors.

engine harness is about an inch thick. :icon_bigg Jenny Craig diet!!

Car has been down since March 2011. :icon_sad:

Got a new 95' OEM Harness from Toyota that cost $1000+. :yikes:
I made the mistake of running a APEXi Power FC for a USDM car on a JDM 2JZGTE harness.
So I ended up using a new fuel injector resistor, and USDM 550cc
Its running now and the 1.5JZ sounds beastly. I don't have the down pipe welded up yet.
That explains the monstrous noise. :evil2:

The harness has been modified to use a auto MK3 transmission harness that's been bypassed to run a R154.
The 95' 6-Speed harness is still intact, for when I have the funds to go 6-speed. :naughty:
It runs now! Happy New Years!

UPDATE!

Drove the car all the way to Vegas, got caught in traffic for an hour.
I'm by myself on the 15fwy at night, hoping and praying for the best.
Engine temps reached 11 degrees Celsius on my 50mm TRD guage.
If you convert that it's about 220°F.
I may have burned the green and red color of my gauges, into my eyes staring at it for so long.

First thought that came to mind was to pass Aaron of DM in his giant motor home trailing his OMFGSOSEXYMK4.
Take a detour off the freeway and mash the gas and to get air flowing through the radiator ASAP!
At this point and time looking into my rear view mirror, with my CF wing in view.
I'm thinking to myself. "FLYLOW" and laughed to myself. hahaha

Pulled over to the first gas station to cool down and waited to link up with KillerBee who was not that far behind me.
I think this was the first time I was out of city limits to test out my electric cutouts, that added 15 more hp when opened. I flipped that toggle switch on and sat there idling while I waited for Bee.

At this time it caught the attention of a few onlookers. lol
It sounded too bad ass, I can't thank Tiwnsturbomotorsports enough for the awesome metal work and fabrication of the new downpipe. I finally have a car that looks and sounds like "BECAUSE RACER CAR" "nodding"
The BorgWarner EFR's quick spool sound mated to the engine coming out the cutouts directly under my butcheeks equaled eargasm.

Like a jet plane off I went... I'm not going to say how fast I was going.. but I did it for awhile without any issues.
I made 371hp on 17psi on my previous setup.
With the new setup she made 491hp 455tq on 14psi at sea level.
Less boost more power, I'll take it.

Scenic cruise:
Me and Ly where concerned with our engine temps. So we canceled the cruise and decided to just make our way over to Hotrods and Horsepower... Fashionably late.

Dyno challenge:
In SIV2014 she made,
First run 487hp 431tq
2nd run 489hp 440tq

It makes 15 more hp with the QTP cutouts opened on the custom TwinsTurboMotorsports Down pipe.
Thanks for the tires Eric and Marc they came in handy at the drag race event.

BorgWarner EFR 7670 1.05 A/R is awesome on a 8.5:1 --- 1.5JZ
The quick spool is fun. But I won't recommend it if your looking to make more hp.
I'm tapped out. So I'm planing on stepping up to a bigger 600hp -700hp capable EFR.
Say no to IWG (internal wastegate) EFR setups, it was the only problem we found.

Drag race results:
I was doing fine staging, but I just kept missing 3rd gear.
My times where improving the first 4 runs, where I was cutting 10th' off my times.
I believe the 5th run the car decided to let go of the driver side LSD.
To quote Eric from TwinsTurboMotorsports "I think your ***** half shaft boot came flying off!"
There is a video of the car just rolling to staging lol
My fastest time was a 14.20 IIRC
Not good... or bad for my second time drag racing. =)

As soon as me and Ly (Red 813hp twinturbo MK3) made it into Barstow.
She decides not to boost anymore. We both already broke at the drag race event.
To have this problem added to a failing LSD and broken 2nd gear was depressing.
Not! Go hard or go home!
ATM the car is sitting at home. I have not been able to find the issue due to my busy work schedule.

It was great meeting everyone at SILV. See you guys next year!

Just before work I was able to take the car to TwinsTurboMotorsports, Heard a rep from borgWarner was going to be there. So I rushed over asap but missed him. Marc and Eric was kind enough to help me diagnose the problem.
I wasn't able to find a loose coupler. But it wasn't a loose coupler Marc found a slit in one the elbows coming off the turbo. I had a cheap part where I should've used an HPS item I trusted.

Car is running now. Removed wing for daily driving.

UPDATE: Oh hey SM! My SUPRA was hit at SIV2022 by a drunk driver just before all the fun stuff was supposed to happen.
Me and the bros were able to fix it and drive it home to California.
ATM I'm working on getting it retitled and back on the road. :p:p:p:p
