This is really pissing me off cause it always the drivers window and I don't have ac.

Oh and you can get 12v to feed the motor from the blue wire in the same plug. They ignition has to be in the "ON" position.

So, jumper the Red to the blue and the yellow to the white w/black stripe to make it go up. To roll it down, jumper the red to the white w/black stripe and the yellow to the blue.

This thread should be cleaned, and stickied for the information it bore out. Hopefully I can find it if I ever need it.

CRE........How would we go about doing this on the passenger side? Same wire colors there?

would be handy considering I've had two drivers window switches fail on me....window stuck down both times.

If you can't figure this out on your own maybe you shouldn't mess with it.

with that logic then why the fuck is there a forum?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

i dont work with electronics at all......EVER.......so ive never needed to know how to read diagrams......and the supra is the only car ive ever owned that has had electrical issues.....so how about you have a scoop of stfu?

Get a can of electrical contact cleaner, and try to spray inside the switch. I fixed mine this way.

i tried....i hosed that sob down with damn near half a can...didnt do crap....for awhile if i pushed really hard on the button it would work...then i had to push hard and to the side a bit....then i had to take the plate around the button off and use my knife to push the metal tab down....now it just completely fails! my first button i ended up useing "snake probes" to stick down into the slot where the metal tab is to get the windows up...if you didnt get it just right sparks would fly lol.

im not gonna fuck with it this time...ill use the paperclips to get my window up cause its gonna rain soon...but ill be going to toyota in the morn to see how much those units cost.

you know...this really pisses me off!!!!!

my supra is my daily driver....and i already mentioned that my window is stuck DOWN....so sure if i had the time to do research and study how electrical diagrams work and what they mean then sure i can figure it out...hell i read blueprints for a living....so isnt it kinda obvious why i would ask...

ps...its not that im "retarded"....i just dont know electronics....so i asked for a really damn clear answer as so i dont fuck up....i got my answer thanks to CRE and absolutely no thanks to YOU!!!

god damn that pissed me off
