hello my supra brothers, i recently purchase NGK G-Power Platinum Spark Plugs from kragen.

my question is does this spark plug already come pre gapped? or do i have to gap it myself?

The instructions in back of the box say that " do not adjust spark plug gap due to possible damage to fine center electrode "

but at this website http://www.customcarscentral.com/ngkbcpr6egp-toyota-supra.html

they said the spark plugs are not pre gapped? weird isnt it? so which is which

if i do have to gap it myself, wats the gap size?

yes, they need to be gapped.

Iridium plugs say not to gap em cuase you cna damage em, but they're all over the board in gap.

Only plug I cna thing of that doesn't need to be gapped is the Bosch Platinum +4's, and they have 4 electrodes...

A few weeks ago I wanted to see if you can actually damage the spark plug by gapping it, so I tried it and it broke the tip. I'd say if you were gonna gap them try ir with a feeler gauge and not that little round spark plug gapper. But thats just my 2 cents.

If youre turbo, return them or throw them away and get ngk 6097's. Then you wont have to gap them and theyre actually the right plugs.

A feeler guage is a good way to ruin the ceter, if that is how you are trying to adjust it. Or that stupid little dial from autozone.

A spark plug tool has about 4 guages, double ended for metric and stadard. And a little rod with a notch, where you bend the tip to the right distance. It is only thousands of an inch, and you gorillas will probably break it, as alluded to above.
