Some one just gave me a set of tires, they are 205/55/16.....a bit off. They are decent, about 70% tread left. Wasn't thinking of putting them on my car but i was wondering if it would fit the sup's rims and running it would be fine or not. Maybe i should put on flame suit. I know there are no reasons to be running a smaller size and possibly not suitable for the mk3, it was just a thought.

They'd fit and work perfectly on the Supra, the overall diameter is 0.1% different from stock.

If you were driving the car in snow, it's basically the perfect size to have. If you're just driving around doing day to day things, they'd be fine on the car, I think you'll find you'll lose some cornering traction with them on dry pavement though.

Those are the alternate tire size for the stock wheels.

I run that size winter tires, IIRC its recommended in the manual.

(just expanding on what Jeff Lange said)

narrow tires dig into the snow better instead of packing it down and slipping on top of it.
"Werd" If anyone has watched WRC in the snow... look at their tires... pure pizza cutter.
