Did I get sent a W58 clutch disk?

Hi Supramania,

I went to go put on my clutch yesterday and the disk doesn't fit the fidanza flywheel. It has too much depth (on both sides) and doesn't fit. This disk does however fit the stock flywheel just fine.

So, either A)I've got the wrong flywheel or B)wrong disk. Nashman assures me that this flywheel was used on his car for 3 months with the same ACT PP setup.

Any help is appreciated!

Its weird how it fits the stock and not the Fidanza, because we know Ryan did run that flywheel till his car blew up.

Is there not a P/N that came on the box of the clutch Chris, or does it just say it's for a Supra?

Yea I understand that, but I just find it weird how it can fit one flywheel and not the other.

But yes, most likely ordered the wrong one. :nono:

did you try sliding it on the input shaft of the transmission? the splines are different so if it dosnt fit then its not for the r154.

I went an picked through the dumpster to get my old clutch disk...looks like it's exactly the same as the new one. Hmmm. I'll double check if the new disk slides on the splines, but I have to wait until the day's out. Don't wanna get in the way during work hours!

Thanks for the info lagged.

Just checked, and it fits on the splines just fine. Picking up the stock flywheel from the machine shop so screw it...I'm installing the clutch tonight without the Fidanza.
