calling all turbo W58 owners

look this is the dumbest question ever...but its annoyin me...how the hell do i know weither i have a w58 or r154? i have a 87 turbo. i just got it and im learning as i go..sorry for the dumbass question guys i just gotta know

you have an r154 unless the car was swapped to turbo, then you might have w58

R154 is the beef.

Stock Turbo
The car should say what kind of diff you have, G315(3.91 lsd) or G325(3.73 lsd) you have R154.

Stock N/a
G284(4.3) or G285(4.3 lsd) you have w58.

stock turbo, 15psi, i made 289rwhp and 295 ft lbs of torque. i'm on a w58 with fresh synthetic fluid, and a clutcmasters stage 3. it feels like a stock pedal!

I have basically a stock W58 on basically stock 7MGTE motor and rebuilt/modded turbo with only an intercooler mod and running stock 7PSI boost (I can't figure out how to program and run my HKS EVC). The W58 and stock clutch has performed flawlessly. But then I don't race around town. Although I do down shift all the time.

i have about 8000 miles on this disc. it still holds great. the guy will also replace worn pucks for cheap.
