well Supra sits in the garage still and I have done absolutly nothing about it for the last 8 months and figured mabye I should get off my lazy ass and do something about it. Now The engine has rod knock And I think mabye Its time to start learning about the 7m in person. I have owned 2 supras for the last 4 years but Never really did any serious hands on work always paid a shop to do it. Hardest thing I probaly ever did was swap turbos. So basiclly what im getting at Is I think mabye I should attemp to try and pull this motor myself and rebuild it myself. Now I don't have intentese engine knowledge but I do know the basics and some things and figure this be a good time to learn more anyways. I lost my lisecen till feburary of next year anyways SO I got alot of time on my hand and don't need the car as a DD anymore:cry: . I have all the basic tools(wrenchs, sockets, etc.) but Im guessing I will need a good torque wrench, engine stand and hoist. Anything else that I will need????
Basiclly MY question is think I should attempt this or Am I just going to make more of a mess then I started with and should just pay a shop to do it?:1zhelp:
