He said it was a theft recovery, but his son i guess liked porches better, so its been sitting in a shed or barn, idk. he said it was covered up, interior looks nasty and probly got rained on a lot, otherwise the main parts on the body are nice

yea no please save ur 500 bucks, u can find a BHG or better shell for 1000, and a 1k shell will come with everything but motor and trans.
to me that actually doesnt look half bad. if the dash isnt cracked thats a plus. the sawblades look spotless which is a rarity. the paint doesnt look half bad.
but seeing as its missing the front end and the interior is ripped apart i would prolly just go to the guy and say here i got 350 cash take it or leave it your not giving me much to work with and the parts to replace most of the stuff you are missing is going to cost a lot.

No!!! way to much work. I bought a 89 5 speed turbo targa with a bhg in damn near perfect condition for $800 and my bro in law bought a 87 5 speed turbo targa With everything there. All it needs is paint and a engine for $500.

I would pay its value in scrap metal for it if it didnt have any rust and the repaint was done properly. Keep in mind that if the interior has been wet, its probably rusting underneath the carpet and everything else. Its gonna be a ton of work to bring that thing back to driveable.
i have a NA-T cressida sitting in my garage, 2 days after my rebuild some old ppl smashed into me and its totalled (woot insurance money for a new shell), i got a complete engine/trans and all the crap i need in my garage, i just want a rust free shell, hard to find up here in minnesota, thanks for the input tho, ill keep digging for a shell, dont care what, cressida/supra i like em both
I would keep looking. There is no telling the amount of trouble you may run into with that shell.
I would buy it, I have a complete burgundy leather interior you can have if you come get it in Des Moines, Iowa, seats are torn but everything else is pretty good.
Oh man 500 for that seems high. If you were in cali i would sell you my rolling chassi for 50 bucks and it's in way better condition then that.

Wouldn't be bad if it wasn't rained on. I'd look all over it for rust or mold, especially under the carpet.
$100 MAX and I wouldn't touch anything but the metal pieces that would be ok, there is no way that interior is going to be worth a damn. Save your cash find a good shell for $500 like everyone is saying.
Check craigslist in different cities. I bought my 88 for $1200 and it was in great shape with a rebuilt motor. Guys wife made him get rid of it lucky me. I drove a few hours away to get it. Keep looking

No way for 500 bones. Like others posted you can find good condition supras, with everything there for 1000 bucks or so. To put it this way my gray sup, that you have seen, I pick up for $1,100 and just had a bad valve. The Red 91 I pd $500 for that I parted out

Looks like its a little rough. If you were buying it just for strictly the shell to gut and make a race chassis with, maybe.
