i have a 7mgte that has a bmhg, whith studs. the head has been milled. right now the head needs to be milled agine 5k's more but the head is at the factory spec limits. im planing on putting another metal head gasket on it but im not soure if i can us the same head or not ??

the reason why i think that the previous metal gasket blew because the block was not decked.
someone please tell me if it is safe to sill us the head after its pass 5k's with a 1.2 metal hg ?? that are the limits

You need to post how thick your block deck is, that way we can figure out how much has been milled off it.

Who told you that the head is at the factory spec limits, and how did they figure this out?

Maximum allowable warpage for the head is 0.10mm or 0.0039"

IIRC the cylinder head is 116mm thick from base of head to base of cam caps, don't quote me on that though, search that one, it's on here.
