BHG sooo son? Not convinced

well to start off its a rebuilt motor only has about 6k miles on it just this week my tempature needle has been spiking up to 3/4 and sometimes almost come close to hit red but then goes back down to its normal operating temp and it stays normal for the rest of the drive...it does it atleast once everytime the car has been started and driving for a while only thing it does though is it spikes and drops right away...ive check for leaks but none were found were else do you guys recommend i should look at? any help will be appreciated thx

- Block check
- New radiator cap
- New lines to the overflow tank, including the pickup to the bottom of the tank
- New thermostat
- Check the waterpump
- burp the cooling system properly after everything is done

And cut the jiggle valve off your new thermostat.

This worked wonders for me! And when you burp your cooling system, make sure you've jacked the front end of you car up high enough so the Radiator cap is at least level to the top of your dash/heater core. If you dont, then you'll get an air pocket trapped in your heater core (Que waterfall sound). And good luck!
