Battery Tie Down

Did our cars come with a battery tie down? Mine doesnt have one and after cleaning and re-tightening all the terminals and grounds my car still completely died from time to time as if the batter had been disconnected. So I ended up sticking a towel in the engine bay around the battery to keep it from moving and low and behold the problems with the car cutting out disappeared. But I dont want to do a hack job here I actually want to fix the problem. The previous owner didnt have a problem with this, but he wasnt getting the car sideways like I do either. But I checked on Jay Marks Toyota's site and didnt find a tie down, any ideas as to where I could find one?

Yes it came with one, yes it's still available from the dealer, no it's not expensive, yes you should get a new one, it's like $15.

i watched a guy fail for that. i almost died laughing.
he drove like 3 hours to get there.

I come from a land down under
Had a battery come loose many years ago and hit the fan and explode with plastic and acid everwhere!

Pretty well scratch 1 car as no way know could I get rid of it all and the rust that followed!

Lesson learnt from that was always use a good hold down or a battery box!

I use the factory tie down and the factory plastic piece that goes over the front of the battery. Except I don't know how the plastic piece is supposed to stay on so I used zip ties for that. Hold pretty well with just the plastic piece itself.
