Im installing a new ATI Super Damper on the 7m and noticed that the stock crank bolt doesn't fit on the ATI. The stock bolts built in washer seems to be too big for the ATI's center housing. I checked and rechecked the part number and it is the right part. I looked on ATI's website and didnt find anything about using alternate bolts, it was supposed to be straight bolt on. I was thinking of just cutting down the washer looking thing from the bolt to make it slim enough for the ATI's center housing . Has anyone had this problem and what did you do to correct it? :1zhelp:

How exactly do you turn it down? Would a grinder do the job?

Thanks for all the input
See if you can find a machine shop that is willing to cut it on a lathe. That would be the best way to do the job. And yes to Ian, the dampers do fit tight on the snout. Just put one on the SC and that was a VERY tight fit!
