Sell the sports car and buy a Civic 1.2 liter if this is killing you folks.

Our gas is cheaper than anywhere else in the world. And if we could stop grubbing for pennies for five minutes and pass the fair tax, the cost of gas would drop to it's REAL price, not it's government tax inflated price.

Wait for the summer and see where gas lands by then.

House OKs New $18 Billion Taxes on Oil Companies.

The price of oil will go down as predicted. But this tax will negate it. One more "victory for the people" by the national socialist democratic party! YEeeeaaa!

Yea!!! Celebrate your tax and spend government folks. This will teach those big oil bastards! :sarcasm:

These people were already paying far more than a 'fair share' of taxes.

This new bill, you guessed it, it goes right into the price of gas. Just keep listening to the moveon crowd. Keep buying into the demagoguing of the oil companies.

You just fucked yourselves, and you are going to keep fucking yourselves until you wake up and face reality.

Your enemy isn't the oil company, it's you, and the government you elect.

gas prices are the least of my worries, people should be worried about more important things than the price of gas.

Seriously people - what is stopping the United States from staging massive revolt? Is it fear? Fear of what? Is it stupidity? Or are we all just too comfortable and would rather it stay the course than change?

Supposedly Bush said he'd veto that bill...

Yea, I'll bet he does.

Will Barak Obama, Hilary Clinton or John McCain the next time someone shrilly runs around screaming about oil companies and record profits?

I think not... And that's the problem. We could put anyone in office, we've narrowed it down to these three as our "best and brightest"...

Fucking frightening.

Yep, I doubt any of them would veto such a bill...

Bush really isn't all that bad now, I think he just reacted before he thought in some of his decisions...
