^^I agree in terms of personal sanity. Not living in Socal anymore has its benefits too though. Cops here dont give a damn about cars this loud on the street.

For a V8, especially a modded one i dont think it sounds very good at all. Sounds almost like constricted glasspacks. Ill take the sweet quiet sound of my HKS Muffler and the turbo compressing air! Mind you id still take that Goat if it was given to me!...i would change the exhaust first thing tho.
What a dumbass, he put heads off a crappy smaller motor on an LS2 that already had perfectly good heads.

Sounds alright. A little raspy at idle and on overrun. I prefer the sound of a Corsa exhasut on LS2's. An X pipe would probably help it a bit too.
I am not one to know anything about exhaust.. but the start up sounds like a diesel engine farted
Kinda lame for an ls1/2 whatever it is. sounds more like one of those DOHC v8s more than the pushrod motor its supposed to be. I like the deeper/less raspy style sound haha. ill post a link to a trans am i like the sound of. Its the gold one in the video. May be a lame video but they sure sound good for pushrod motors!

That GTO was an LS2. LS1s are 5.7s, LS2s are 6.0s. GM only used the LS1 for the first year, IIRC.
I don't like the sound an LS1 makes. LT1>LS1 as far as that goes, IMO.
