Just a note: THIS IS NOT MY CAR, nor do I know whos it is. Its actually on eBay.

Apparently the chick was drunk and hauling ass, the road turned, and she didn't. Smacked a tree. Odd thing is, she was going really fast, and its a N/A Auto....I didn't know those things could get over 55. She only had a few scratches when they cut her out of the car. Go figure.

I'm trying to decide if she broke the steering wheel on impact or if they had to cut it apart to get her out. Windshield looks like she may have chewed on a little glass too. Been there, not pleasant.

It's been cut. I saw it quite a few times when I was an EMT. I'd be surprised if she lived through it.

apparently it was the driver that came back to remove their belongings, thats what the guy listing it said anyway. Car went on to sell for a whopping $100.

from looking at it again, the driver side of the passenger area seemed to hold up fairly well all things considered...It looks like it just forced the column downwards, which would no necessarily be lethal, however it wouldn't surprised me if her legs were broken or at least severely bruised. Either way, if she truly is still alive, the car did its job...

I have "walked" away from worse. The MKIII is a extremely well built car, trust me I know. I will not post pics.

Looking at it, she was probably ok as long as she was wearing her seatbelt. They DO work.
