LOL me too. We almost never get any snow and if we do, it's generally gone the next few days. We had a record snowfall here and over 30cm here. :cry: I couldn't get out of my driveway for 2 days.

Why the powerglide over the th350? I'm going to finally do my th350 swap unless someone talks me into something different. The powerglide may be a better choice. Can you tell me why you're going this route.

First off, thanks Tun_x for the post.

Going powerglide over TH350 because this is being converted into a drag car. With a high stall and loads of power, don't need anything more than a 2 speed.

A 6,000RPM still will keep the engine in its peak torque range for longer.

Car went from stock auto to R154 5 speed. And only 2 months on the manual, I decided to switch to a glide due to blowing up 2 R154 trannies in that time.

Also reviewing the tape later, the IC blow off was due to a nitrous backfire.
