94 Toyota pickup auto cross machine

Well I have had change in hobbies again and have dropped 4 wheeling and now I am back into auto cross.

so I bought a 94 Toyota reg cab pickup base base base model didn't even come with a clock lol


Well I have done alot with it since November and alot of stuff I had lieing around

Well hear are some pic's

so far I have not really done to much but I have done some things like

install new tilt steering column and momo wheel

-installed new gauge cluster from a sr5 sorry no pic as of yet or the new update of the interior will get one soon

- installed new deck and speakers


swapped shoes form my car to my truck since my car will be going to 18's soon

had to add some 1 inch spacers so tire would not rub frame. I am pretty sure a 285 is about as wide as you can go in the back and boy does it look good

Well this catches ya up to were I am now

so today I just have to install my sway bars and re adjust my toe


and this week end I am tackling on getting my racing licence so I can race in bigger events

not bad so far for toyota truck

I will run 440's or 550's when I going to ls2 coils and throw away the stock distributor and go to a trigger wheel

Well today really sucked snow, sleet, hail, rain and gale forced winds grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr but the sway bars are in the rear bar did not fit all to well at frist but I made it work. I made have to shorten the end link abit bet but after today **** it not even sure my mounts are aliened right, but it's an easy fix

further more my welder broke so I had to whip out old trusty 120 since the trigger would not work after a bunch of testing look like it the main contoler for wire feed has an issue grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr some more.

oh ya the bell tec rear bar does not fit right since it is made for a 4x4 4 runner or a 4x4 reg cab wtf


any ways here some pic i going to drink my self to sleep tonight then wake up to go get the truck alined at my buddies shop I have nice aliment planned so it should turn out pretty sweet


well here is the front bar beside the stocker

bolts they gave me but did not fit must be for 4x4 replaced wit new bolt's the good one's are gold

for some reason the collect for the end like had some **** in it so i had to drill it out

custome bracket to make it work

install with ****ty 120 welder but it did it's job

1000 lbs less weight will do that bud.

That said, I do find it a little funny that you built it with autocross in mind, and you're sticking a good bit of weight in there with the speaker setup. I'd be rather hypocritical to give you grief over that though...

Fair enough, my audio system in the widebody is going to be there for ballast, where the rear seats would have been.
