Will it work?

I swapped over to my set of '89 mouldings I bought a couple months back (that's where my trim pieces came up for sale :D) but I realized one small problem - the center part between my taillights doesn't match anymore!

I'd like to go up to a set of '89+ taillights eventually, but for now can I use just the center piece?

The trim on the 89+ is part of the center section!!! I believe on the pre 89 the trim is also part of that section. I guess I dont know how easy it is to swap trim between sections but my guess is that it could be done. But you are going to need a center section from an 89+ anyway for the trim. If I were you I would look on ebay or in the parts section here on the foum and find some taillights. That away its done right!!!

Yeah, I know what you mean... the bottom trim IS part of the center section, and that's my problem - I've got a pre '89 bronze trim mucking up teh flow of that post '89 goodness :)

Doward, I never tried to remove the trim section on the center. Have you looked at it???? Does is look like it comes apart????? If it does I am sure someone here can help you out with the trim you need.

Jeff, is that a pre '89 taillight assembly, with '89+ moulding? I don't suppose you have that for sale, do you? :D

I'm taking it, that is a euro assembly? Anyone got one? :)

da89sup, if the Euro falls through, I'll see about that center section :)
